Walker River State Recreation Area
Walker River State Recreation Area is a pet-friendly park in Yerington, NV. This little gem is a great spot to take your pooch if you want to explore the river and the surrounding area. There aren't many hiking trails around the river, but keen floaters can hop on the water in their kayaks. Dogs are welcome to join their owners, as long as they are on a leash under six feet and all mess is cleaned up after them. An entry fee to the park may apply.
