This gem in New Hampshire was formerly the home of John Wingate Weeks, leading conservationist, U.S. congressman, U.S. senator and Secretary of War. He donated the estate, which includes lots of paved and wooded trails, picnic areas and pretty views of the surrounding rolling hills. Dogs are not permitted inside some of the buildings, must remain on a leash under six feet and should be cleaned up after.
