Shale Oak Winery is dog-friendly. They've got great wine and staff, so there's no excuse for not having a taste of what's in stock. The first thing you'll notice when you pull up to the winery is the modern architecture of the tasting room. Two buildings geometrically slotted together like a game of Tetris. The vineyard is spread out over 70 acres and produces grapes that are used in rose, zinfandel, and Sauvignon wines.
