We bought our tickets at Ripleys believe it or not and was able to tour that with both our dogs before the train tour. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Benji was our tour guide for the train ride and did a wonderful job! He was very funny, knowledgeable and so helpful. Highly recommend!

We had so much fun in the tour. Benji was an awesome driver, We brought our two dogs and they enjoyed it as well. I had wished my whole family was with us. Fun!!
- KristinaDec 2, 2023They really love dogs
I don't usually do these tours but I enjoyed this one. Entertaining and educational.
- ErinOct 31, 2023And the museum too!
Fun tour! No weight or breed restrictions. Also, if you get your tickets for the tour at Ripley’s Believe it or Not, they will also let your pup go in the museum. Our baby is 60 lbs and they didn’t bat an eyelash. Very dog friendly!
- DebbieJul 21, 2023Fun little tour
Fun and informative tour. Our guide/driver Tiny Tim had a great combination of knowledge and humor. He welcomed our Lila with open arms and lots of petting. $23.99 wasn't too bad for the tour but an additional $10 for parking was steep.
- KamiJun 18, 2023Great Tour
We had a great tour guide, Ed. despite the listing they do allow dogs over 20 lbs.
- AlisonJun 16, 2023Very dog friendly and a great tour!
Great sightseeing in St. Augustine. The train ride is just long enough to see things you want to explore more. Our guide was funny and very informative. We didn’t go in the museum but were told by staff it is also very dog-friendly.

our tour guide Jeff was great! 3 pups were on our train tour & he made them feel very welcome. informative & fun, I highly recommend this activity for a family with kids & fur babies if you’re looking for a crash course in local history.
- FabianFeb 22, 2023GREAT OVERVIEW OF ST. AUGUSTINE WITH PUPS❤️
The train was our first overview of the city! we loved all the way. The train driver was very dog friendly and our 2 little dogs were extremely comfortable in their opened backpack during the ride. LOVE IT AND WILL DO IT AGAIN!
- JeremyMay 10, 2022Great little train ride through history!
Enjoyed one of the early trains from the Ripley’s museum. The entire museum is dog friendly per the staff, not just the train ride. Great experience as we rode through St. Augustine.
- JoseOct 1, 2021Dog friendly tour of St. Augustine
Your dog is welcome to sit on the bench with you on this approximately 1 hr. tour of America’s oldest city. The website says your dog has to be under 20 lbs. but if you show up and act like you own the place, I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if your pup is more on the hefty side.
- KatherineFeb 9, 2021Great Time For Us And Our Pet!
We took the 10 AM train and they were quite welcoming to our dog Abby. She was also welcome in the gift shop afterwards! Great tour that showed us quite a few sites in St Augustine so we could get our bearings.
- TerriJan 27, 2020So much fun we did it twice!
Did this the first time at night as a charter with our group and everyone's dogs. It was to view the lights. The driver was great and we had so much fun. So the next day we did it during the day with our two dogs and our driver Alex, was hilarious. What a great time, even the dogs had a great time. Highly recommend it.

Took a regular tour & Nights if Lights tour. It was awsome. My Lola loved it & everybody loved her. Such a dog friendly town. Coming to stay a week this year just because of this. Our girl goes wherever we go❣️
- KimNov 8, 2019The dogs loved the attention
A friend & I were traveling with our goldens and were thrilled to find out that the Little Red Train was pet friendly. We arrived at the station a little after 10 and purchased our tickets along with tickets for the scenic cruise and received a discount and also free tickets for mini golf. They give you a sticker to wear on your shirt and you can ride all day plus they offer free parking at the station. The guides were great, we learned a lot about the history of the town and our first guide was a bit of a comedian as well. We got dropped off at the marina around 11:30 which gave us time to walk around the town and do some shopping before our 1 pm cruise. We finally decided to head back around 4 - the train runs till 5 and ended up sitting behind a nice couple we had met earlier in town. Everyone was so nice and we learned a lot plus the dogs loved cruising thru the town with the breeze blowing thru their fur and everyone waving at them.
