Fun little tour
Ripley's Red Train ToursFun and informative tour. Our guide/driver Tiny Tim had a great combination of knowledge and humor. He welcomed our Lila with open arms and lots of petting. $23.99 wasn't too bad for the tour but an additional $10 for parking was steep.
Good but not great
Connolly's Shore GrillHostess said to seat ourselves. We did and a server passed by us several times without a word. After almost 10 minutes, the hostess came with menus and told that same server that we were hers. I do appreciate that they brought a pitcher of water for our dog when they brought our drinks. After server brought our meals, we didn't see her again until we were done. She never checked on us, offered drink refills, etc. Sadly they were out of the lobster deviled eggs which was the reason we went there.
Great service
Florida Cracker CafeWater was offered to our pup as soon as we sat down. Breakfast was yummy, especially the Surfer Sara omelet. Service was great even though our family of 6 had a few special requests.
Mediocre
Little Margie's FA CaféService was very slow. Food was bland. My husband got the Ultimate Benedict. The lobster, crab and shrimp cake had no flavor, was very thin and smaller than the English muffin. The English muffin was not toasted. I ordered the huevos rancheros. The menu warns that this is spicy. It was not. The tortillas were not heated, just soft and soggy under the eggs which were topped with what seemed like jarred salsa and A LOT of cheese. The black beans were watery and bland. The only tasty item was the breakfast sausage. Server never checked on us after our food was served. My husband had to flag her down to get our check.
Great service
