Animal World USA International is pleased to announce New York Week for the Animals is October 14-22, 2017! . During the week, animal shelters, rescue groups, wildlife centers, educational institutions and humane organizations across the entire state will be hosting fun-filled special events which will be saving lives, building relationships, helping animals and strengthening communities. • Some of the many events will include adoption days, Pets Alive Benefit musical concert, Halloween Howl & Healthy Hound Fair, youth activities for the animals, foster home drives, An Elegant & Cozy Vegan Harvest Feast, Dog Days of Smithtown event, Out of the Pits and Into Your Hearts fundraiser, Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade, autumn fundraisers for homeless animals, Global Cat Day events, 'Go Get It' Life Run for Life 5K, horse welfare events, Pitbull Awareness Month education & adoptions. pet food donations, farm animal sanctuary events, blessings for the animals, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, wildlife camps, bird tours/activities, My Dog Loves Central Park Fair, nature educational youth days, special low cost adoptions and spay/neuter opportunities, Halloween festivities at shelters for the homeless cats and dogs, rabbit adoptions, and therapy animals visiting hospitals and living-assisted homes. • Also to be included are a salute to our working K-9 and handlers, low cost vaccinations,vegetarian meetups, and celebratory fall festivals for families to enjoy friendship, food, music on behalf of the always amazing animals.
