Corgi Walk in the Pearl

Bring Fido to this annual walk that raises money for both Oregon Humane Society and Corgi Rescue. The Walk is approximately 1.2 miles in length and consists of a leisurely stroll along many streets in the Pearl. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete the walk, depending on how fast you and your dog wish to walk and how much visiting you and your dog would like to do along the route. The Walk is fun and interactive. Local merchants, people on the trolley, and tourists all wave and ooh and aah over the parade of Corgis along the sidewalks. Last year two of the local news channels took photos.

2018 Doggie Dive

What's it like when more than 200 dogs take to the pool in one afternoon? It's a wet and wild time! Each fall, on the last day of outdoor pool season, Lake Shore Athletic Club opens its pool to the community of dog lovers. This event offers something for every dog: seasoned swimmers can fetch and dive in the big pool while small dogs or inexperienced paddlers can take a dip in the wading pool.
