Ararat River Greenway

Dogs are welcome to join their owners for a nice walk on Ararat River Greenway. The greenway begins at Riverside Park, runs beside the Ararat River, and continues to Tharrington Elementary School. It spans just over two miles in length and is mostly paved. Make Clean up any mess that your pooch leaves behind. Visit Website

Great walking trail
Well-maintained, paved, and wide trail. Usually see a lot of other dog walkers and bikers. A few folks fishing and swimming. Be careful if you get in the water- there is a lot of glass. Also be wary of bikers- it’s easy to “clothes line” them with a long leash if you don’t see them coming!
