Park Castel des Deux Rois

The Parc Castel des Deux Rois is pet-friendly. This spacious park with a designated fenced area is 812 square-meters, offering plenty of space for dogs to run unleashed. This hillside spot boasts scenic views over the city of Nice and the port, as well as a small cafe with outdoor seating. The park is also great for the kids, with a playground and a small water park with sprinklers that they can play in. Guests must pick up after their pets, and there are pet stations with waste bags and a trash bag. The park is open every day of the week from 8am until 8pm.

    Park Castel des Deux Rois

Small park with a small fenced-in area for dogs to be off leash. It is along the side of a steep hill but looks secure for larger dogs. Small dogs might dig and slip under the fence. Sundays it is busy with families and, when I was there, birthday parties. There is a walking path around the perimeter of the park that is a pleasant walk and a small snack area. Lots of children playing in the jungle gym areas.

Disappointed. The area fenced off for dogs is v small, scrub and suitable for a pupsized friend

Maybe I went on a bad day. It was damp, raining and only a solitary child was seen playing on the playground fixtures. Nice enough park area but the dog section isn’t one I’d repeat even if mine could play with others. Ample grass in the main park area just not very practical if jo public is out enjoying the sunshine. My one year old labrador needs off-lead to burn off his energy

    Interesting park!

a fairly spacious dog park in comparison to others in Nice. there is the main Park area, a huge spacious lawn with plenty of activities and the gated dog area can be found by walking down a small path on two sides.
the actual park has very unusual landscaping, it's almost as though there are 4 "levels" of the park. Effie enjoyed jumping up and down them. Lots of trees and roots in the ground, and the floor is dirt, not grass.
The gate was pretty large, and some areas are a little more lifted off the ground than others. If you have a smaller/thinner dog, be wary of them fitting through the gate.
all in all, a good park for dogs to be off-leash in either the main area, or the gated area.
