I used to bring my last pup here because it’s huge for an enclosed dog park. May bring my current pup here when he’s a little bigger. I found that there can be some owners who huddle and talk, and are inattentive to their dogs so fights can happen, and poop doesn’t always get picked up. However, if you’re needing your dog to play and it’s say rainy, or some time less likely to find other dogs at parks, this one might have them. There is a huge tree like thing dogs can get into, humans can’t, which can be problematic due to sitting water underneath getting dogs sick. But if your dog needs a large, enclosed space to run, this is a good place.
- G.May 4, 2019Great place for puppies and small dogs!
This was such a wonderful experience especially for young pups that you need to socialize. The place is clean, has a variety of terrain (sand, and grass area), and toys you can use. Also there’s a ton of seating and shade for you! I highly recommend! Our pup enjoyed it.

My dog always has fun when we come here. It's separated Into small dogs and large dogs. Having a 9 month old Chiweenie we stay in the small dog side. The park always has dogs here so dogs always have someone to play with. My dog loves to run, so this place gives him the space to run until he can run no more. It's very spacious and not overly crowded with dogs. There are water spot available several feet from one another in the park, so the dogs always have access to water. Great place to tire out your dog.

We stopped by to kill some time before checking into a hotel. Split into two sections and both are a good size. Dog park is part of a much larger park!

This is a decent park but dog owners here tend to be occupied with their cellphones and not paying attention to their animals. Which means hugs piles of poop and unruly dogs. It is a large park with trees and bushes and several chairs, in theory, very nice. But those bushes tend to block the view the owners may have had of Fido doing wrong!

I take my dog to the small dog park several time a week. There are dogs from tiny chihuahuas to small spaniels. He is always excited to get there and has a great time with all the dogs. There are some that are not spayed/neutered and can cause a bit of difficulty but, all in all, a great place for your dog.

We take our dogs almost daily to this park, and have gotten to be really good friends with other pet owners who share a common bond. Our dogs get along very well and play together.
It's a large park, with many seating benches. It's next door to a small dog park, and is by Crown Beach Memorial Park so people can take their dogs out for long walks along (but not ON) the beach. Wonderful weather. Lots of parking (if not by the dog park, then in the adjacent Crown Beach parking.
The only concern I have is when people bring in their unneutered dogs who not only play rough but try to dominate other dogs. And they don't supervise the dogs or keep them on a leash until they know for sure that the dogs will behave. We know the importance of socializing the animals --- but do it responsibly!
We know and have experienced first hand when an aggressive dog attacks. Our docile and senior citizen dog was chased and bitten by another dog whose owner must be in denial that his dog shouldn't be unsupervised or that his dog is capable of such an act.
As far as I am concerned, EVERY dog park should mandate that every dog brought into the park is spayed/neutered so that all and any aggression is removed.
