  Nice for dogs and humans!

  I really liked this dog park! It had a nice gravel path around the perimeter for the humans to walk on. Lots of nice lush grass for the dogs to play in. Lots of water buckets and even a heavy duty swimming pool! There are also a lot of nice chairs for the humans to sit in!

  I created an account to say stay away

  Every time we’ve been here it’s been a bummer. We kept trying because it’s our closest park. My dog contracted Kennel cough last time and we will not go back. Owners do not pick up after their dogs and pay no attention to them: humping, biting, following you into the double gate. So many great parks in Eugene- this is not one of them.

  Giant park for Fido

  Huge park large and small side. Pools grass shade and nice people! We are on a road trip and were made super welcome.

  Perfect Park

  this park was a great find, very warm on the day but loads of water buckets filled and spread out throughout the park
  even had a couple of baths for the super hot doggies highly recommend

  We love Amazon!

  Coming from a town with no dog park we dont have huge expectations but our dogs love Amazon dog park! We visit everytime we are in Eugene so the boys can run off some of their zoomies and they always find great furry friends to chase and play with! They also have water and kiddie pools in the summer time to cool off in! We try to visit a dog park everywhere we travel and when in Eugene we always reccomend Amazon!

  Great Place To Take Your Dog!

  My 2 dogs love amazon dog park! There are always dogs there , there has never been a mean dog to my dogs I think this is the best dog park in Eugene!

  friendly if bare bones

  Lots of room for my dog to run, plenty of mud for him to wallow in--and a mellow neighborhood vibe. We've only encountered friendly dogs and responsible humans there. They do need a shelter for humans given winter in Eugene.

  dangerous for walking

  this poorly maintained park has mud holes, poor drainage, and a path that is covered in i inch size hiway rock making it impossible for anyone who is elderly or disabled to walk and dangerous for dogs to run. The large dog park does not meet the ADA requirements for safety or accessibility. The small dog park is better maintained, cleaner, has a shelter and the path is covered with small 10 minus stone.

  I love alton baker park. I take my dog a lot and there hasn't been any problems. It is true there have been stories of dogs left but not in my time there. It isn't the biggest dog park but better than the other three I have been to.

  I wouldn't, if I were you

  Yes, I gave Amazon dog park a one-star (bone) review, but it's with some reservations. The qualities that rate only one bone are that people don't pick up after their dogs (if you know what I mean), and some local airheads just drop their dogs off at the park while they go shop or something. (In fact, last year a small dog was killed there by a mastiff someone had been leaving at the park all day - every day, and apparently picked it up after work!).

  As for amenities, it's pretty bare-bones, but the grass is kept cut, there are a few wading pools with faucets and a covered picnic table, but that's it. It's not a huge park, but there's plenty of space for your dog to run off the heebie-jeebies.

  Go to Morris Ranch or Alton Baker parks instead. Morris Ranch is fantastic, but Alton Baker is my favorite dog park in Eugene.
