    Wahkeena Trail Loop

    Wahkeena Trail Loop is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to join their owners if they are leashed and well-behaved. This 4.6 has six officially named waterfalls on this trip and a number of cascades and intermittent falls. Start your hike at Multnomah Falls or the Wahkeena Trail head. If you have a harder time with elevation climbs, its recommended to start on the Multnomah side where the trail has more switch backs and is paved. The trail is rated as moderately difficult.       Pretty steep!

      Multnomah side starts out paved, but it doesn’t necessarily make it wheel-chair friendly. It’s quite steep, but the view is absolutely worth it! We didn’t hike the entire loop, but did make it to the first waterfall.
