Houska Park Dog Park

Houska Park Dog Park is pet-friendly. This beautiful park is located alongside the Mississippi River. First established in 1937, the park was formerly known as Isle La Plume Park. The park features a playground, a shelter, a softball field, large dog park, horseshoes, and plenty of open space. The large dog park is fenced-in and allows dogs to run and play off-leash. Dog owners are reminded to keep their pets on a leash outside of the dog park and to clean up any mess that is left behind. The park is open every day of the week from 8am until 10pm. Visit Website

    Two Spaces to Enjoy

Love coming here with my pups Bruce and Milo! The park has two seperate fenced areas to enjoy, both with water systems for the dogs and places to sit for the humans. There are always so many friendly people here and a lot of regulars. It would be nice if the city could fix up the road to it- I feel so bad bumping the dogs all over the place!

    Big Open Space to Run

Trixie and I enjoyed our stop at Houska Dog Park. It is a large, completely fenced area with shade, picnic tables, and bathrooms for humans. Water was available when we were there, too. As we are road tripping, I loved how easy it was to get to - right off the highway.
