    Favorite local park

Anderson dog park is really big and the dogs and people who come there are friendly. Owners seem to pay good attention to their dogs and intervene if anyone gets too eager or aggressive. It can get very muddy in one section but the town has been installed a water station for filling dog bowls and hosing off muddy pups before you put them in the car. There's also a single street light so you can hang out after dark, but it's not enough light to cover the entire park

Great park for exercise and socializing

This park offers a BIG fenced in area for your dog to run, fetch, and socialize with other dogs. A double-gated entryway ensures that your dog can get in and out safely. It can be a bit muddy after a rain so bring your towel for the car ride home, and bring your own water for hot days. They do have bowls available for your water and benches for sitting. My dog had a blast.
