    Fantastic Park

Clearly designed by dog lovers. Large grassy area, wading pools, waterfall and dog rinse off / clean up area. Everything super clean

    Hit or Miss

This park can be the most wonderful place for your furry friends if you come at the right time. Currently taking a break after a husky bit and drew blood from our dog. Hoping to come back once it’s safer for our baby. Also the lack of responsibility for cleanup is off putting.

If only every town had a park like this one!

We’ve traveled from California to Wisconsin and back with our Black Lab and have never found a dog park comparable to this one. Lots of parking, easy access, and plenty of benches and dog water stations. The crowning touch is that it is GRASS! So much nicer than any of the other surface materials commonly used in dog parks. Don’t miss it if you are in Auburn, CA.

    Best dog park

I totally love this park. Super clean and plenty of places to sit and watch your pup have fun. They also have pools and plenary of water stations to cool off. Everyone does a great job picking up after their pooches

    Model dog park

Stopped here a few times and it's great! The dog park is a very short walk from the parking lot and not easy to see. The paved sidewalk at the perimeter is great for me to get in my steps and still monitor my dogs on the lawn. Plenty of seating and benches too. Dog statues add whimsy and character. The waterfall in the summer is a treat for dogs of all sizes. Who will be king of the hill today?

    GREAT DOG PARK!

Just visiting the area and know we will spending some time more then once here. Separated small and large dog but is big enough if your small is familiar with large dogs you can go to either side.

    Best Dog Park By Far

Ashley is a great park. Please do not go thare if your dogs are not socialized or if you dont pick up after your dog.
My wife and i have been to all of the dog parks within 15 mile of our house. The parks in Roseville are covered with poop the nasty Roseville riche nouveau dont pick up and too many aggressive and unsocialized dogs at the other parks. Gibson Ranch is OK the ponies are a plus.

    Excellent

Oct 2014 We've been to this park often - each time we come from a trip to Tahoe or visit a friend in Auburn. Nice paved walkway, shaded & unshaded seating, even a waterfall! Many dogs will play with our 'visiting' dog. All owners have been nice people. Only wish the dog wash area was next to the park, not up by the public restrooms.

    Love this park

I visit some 4 legged friends and their owners in Auburn 3-4 times a year. Make a point of coming to this wonderful park. There can be some rowdy dogs but that is the owners fault. There are plans for an agility area which might help. For the most part it is perfect. Trees. walking trails, a lake w/ ducks, separate areas for large and small dogs ...beautiful.

    dogs stick with owners

Rather than play with each other and the whole reason to go up the dog park is for our dog to get to play with other dogs.

    Best dog park yet

I regularly go to this dog part because we live in town. I've met many out of towners here. It's the best dog park I've ever been to, very large dog area, hills, good fences. There is a waterfall for the dogs, built in seats and picnic benches for people. A very nice statue/memorial, shade gazebos and often toys! Bags are provided for picking up the doody... In the summer there are 2 small kiddie pools too for the dogs. Extremely well maintained! There are usually some balls/toys floating around the park too!

(Not open on rainy days, or just after a long rainy period to keep the grass in good condition: if you're desperate though the small dog park is still usually open and you can always walk your dog on a leash in the regular park area)

Most dogs I've met there are great. As with all dogs you've got to watch out though. There have been some irresponsible owners who leave their dogs in the park and watch their kids on the playground outside. That is my #1 peeve.

2nd peeve would be that there are often younger kids in the park. This park is designed for dogs, not all dogs are used to kids running and screaming- it excites them; it seems some of the families in Auburn don't understand that. But it's a family town too, so I see the flipside!
