Reviews
Visitors generally find the Barber Dog Park to be a spacious, well-equipped, and pet-friendly venue for their dogs. Some note issues with owners not cleaning up after their pets and the occasional problem with larger dogs in the smaller dog area, but overall, they consider it a great spot for socializing and exercise.

this park is so good my puppy love it but they need to fix the small dog pool because it has holes in it but the park is nice for my dogs Scooby do had fun
- AshlieFeb 23, 2022Great park
such a good park! very friendly people and dogs. there’s 2 different sections that each have their own agility/obstacle and covered seating area. 1 is for dogs bigger than 30lbs and one less than 30lbs. I do have to say there are quite a few bigger dogs that are in the less than 30lbs section. they have water fountains that definitely need to be unclogged and cleaned but they still do work. also have a place for you to wash your dog off.

I've been in Orlando for almost a year. This is the best dog park I've found so far. It's large, with super areas for large & small dogs. It's fairly clean, has benches, and a small shaded area with a picnic table. There are water stations and bag stations. The people there are usually considerate & dogs well-behaved.
- MelissaDec 28, 2020Great park!
We love this park! There are always other dogs here for socialization - sometimes only 1 or 2 and sometimes 7 or 8 (at least on the little pet side). There is tons of space for my small dog to run around and plenty of trees to smell. It's always well maintained. I do agree that some of the owners can be careless with the dogs and their messes, but that's not the park's fault. There is also a playground and soccer fields and a walking path outside of the park. Overall, great park! Wish it was closer to us.

don’t bring your dogs here
- KoralysMar 21, 2020It’s Not Bad
This park is a good size. It has a water station, wash station and shade for the humans. Two things I wasn’t crazy about. First, the wash station is kind of inconvenient because it’s in the same place where the dogs come drink water. Second, some of the owners are kind of rude and it shows on some of the dogs. Other than that if I’m in the area and I see the dogs are well behaved, I’ll stay.
- MariaDec 27, 2019My boys love it!
This park is great and so much fun! Every time we pull in the parking lot, my two shihtzu’s go crazy with excitement! I definitely recommend bringing your fur babies here. The fenced area is large and has agility games. There’s also a beautiful walking path around the little lake. We love it and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 bones is because there are sections that have ant piles you need to watch out for. Other than that, it is always clean and well maintained.
- MiaMay 31, 2019Excellent Park in Orlando
The dog park is clean and large. It is split into two areas: one for dogs under 30lbs and one for dogs over 30lbs -- very convenient and to me is considered safer for that reason. It has a hose to wash down your dog after playing and water fountains
- AlexMay 16, 2019Pretty chill park
The facilities are great! This was our first time coming, and cowboy had a blast. We did have a problem with one dog in particular, but the owner left the park soon after. People usually start showing up between 5 & 6pm

We took our dog, Layla, for the first time today and she had a great time. Lots of dogs, super friendly!

Great park for dogs. They enjoyed a park away from home. Interacted with many dogs from small ones to large ones. A great experience for all of us. Next visit to Orlando we will return to this park.

Two fenced areas one for under 30lbs other for over.
Large area on both side for the pups to run, lots of parking as well as paths to walk on leash. Was a great find while we were on vacation - LeisaMore than a year agoPawsome Dog Park!
We have used this park for approximately 4 years for our Italian Greyhound Meet-ups. It is a great park with separate areas for big and little like others have said. This is a necessity for dogs like Iggies. Their little legs can be broken really easily and it is crucial that they don't play with big ones. There are also pools in the hotter months for the pups to cool off in. Water fountains are provided for humans and dogs. There is agility equipment that is made out of plastic. Some trees are available to lounge under and it is a grassy area. When it has been raining, it can get flooded.

Loved this park and my pup did too. There was a lot of sandy dirt up front that made him dirty and need a bath. Went on a weekday and had most of the park to my self. Met some great people too.

I saw the park on the internet and took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised, lots of grass and my girl had the best time. Worth the gas and travel.

Nice big park but looks like no one picks up after their dogs. Watch where you step.
- AshleyMore than a year agoBeware of this park - the fence is extremely dangerous!
Please beware of this park - the fence is extremely dangerous!!! On September 1, 2014, my dog Kona was severely injured by a hinge on this dog park's fence while she was playing and running just as the signs on the park's property encourage her to do. The hinge caused a deep laceration approximately 8-9" long all down her left side. She had to get dozens of stitches, a drainage tube, and multiple medications. My veterinary bill was over $1,000+ and it has taken her months to recover. I submitted an application for an incident report to Orange County FL Parks & Recreation that very day, and told them I am holding them responsible for her veterinary bills and for modifying or reconstructing the fence so that something horrible like this doesn't happen again. As of today, more than 60 days later, they have yet to respond. The hinge on the fence that severely injured my dog did not seem damaged or in a state of disrepair - in it's normal state, it was dangerous enough to cut into my dog's skin just by coming in contact with it. And all the hinges on the entire fence surrounding the dog park area (and perhaps the entire park) are identical to it. Until the Orange County government changes this fence, and any fences in any of their county's parks that have the same hinge structure, they are putting EVERYONE who visits the park at risk for a similar injury.

I went their for the first time and the dogs is nice people are nice park is clean is and I live 45 min away and I think its well worth the gas
- EmileeMore than a year agoGreat for socialization
We are so glad we found this dog park - our 7 month old mutt is getting some great socialization time with large dogs (we take her to the Large Dog side labeled 30 lbs and up.) She enjoys running along the fence with the smaller dogs but learns the ropes from the larger Labs, Bulls, and such. Park includes some agility pieces scattered around. Clean and safe.

Nice park with great space but the only problem is people that don`t clean after their dogs. You have to walk watching your step all the time.

This cozy park is close to the airport and a welcome haven for travelers and local residents alike whose dogs need to run off leash. There is green grass, shade, agility equipment, and water fountains. During ball season on the weekends, parking may be scarce, however.
