    Good place

loved it. my border collie loves it. just the right amount of space for her to really run.
be careful there are a lot of coyotes near by. on the walk back to the car we encountered 3 of them.

    Awesome owners, No running water

    It’s a great park.
    Pros:
    - Almost always a shady area
    - Owners are very responsible and courteous.
    Cons:
    - No running water
    - Muddy after rain. The park has given up on grass and dumped Wood chips in certain areas to help mitigate the problem.

    Hidden Gem

Hard to find so trust your navigation. Its part grass part dirt so wet seasons bring mud.

All in all plenty of space and all dogs are well behaved.

The only downside is there is no water system at the park so bring a gallon of water! Everytime I go, all of the dog bowls are bone dry or undrinkable. We always bring a gallon for our pup and to top off for the rest of the doggos.

Hard To Find But Worth It!

I agree with the other reviews that the first time going can be a bit hard to find- it's off to the side of one of the baseball fields. We went when there were no other dogs there so I cannot comment on that but our pup had a great time running around. (A bit muddy but it's January) We can't wait to come back in the spring and summer! Great walking trail nearby too goes from Bristol to Providence.

    Ok if you like cliques

It's an awesome park for your pups however it comes at the price of dealing with stuck up snotty people who think they can make new rules on the spot. If you can catch it at the right time it's beautiful and clean with some nice people but beware of the "guard dog" groups of people.

so hard to find but worth it

this park is so hard to find, even if you go in knowing it's hard to find. go to the west ball field on gains park road. park at the very end of the lot facing the ball fields. then walk across the field in front and to the left . the entrance to the park is marked NO WHERE nor is there a sign that says - dog park here. once you walk across the width of the ball field, you'll see the entrance. the folks here are nice and welcoming. lots of sun and a shady patch. in the afternoon the bench is in the sun so bring a camp chair if you want to sit in the shade. no running water( which is why it got a 4 bone rating and not 5.) but there is a community bowl and people are willing to share.

    Great Place!

Barrington paw park is a huuuuge space for dogs to run around which is great. No separate small dog and large dog sections but this allows more dogs to socialize. No running water or lights for at night but still a great place to bring your dog.
