    Dog people Park

love this park. very well maintained. most of the people who come here are dog people. we all take care of our dogs and each other. I have several parks near me but I travel 25 min to get there. bring a jug of water to share as water fountains are shut down for now.

Is Your Dog Okay For A Dog Park?

Dog parks are notorious places for dog fights to take place and this often is attributed to the fact that dog owners are often too distracted in talking to other dog owners or reading a book than paying attention to their dog's interaction with other dogs. Dogs may give many dog stress signals before getting into a fight. Often, dog parks also feature dogs with poor manners, rude behaviors and little social skills which may create the ideal grounds for a fight to occur. Often, dog owners will point their finger to the ''bully breeds'' when they are totally unaware that their ''friendly Labrador'' was the one that really provoked and initiated everything. A careful eye on a dog's behaviors and its interactions with other dogs is, therefore, a must. One second of distraction may turn a playful game into a bloody mess.

Good Park - Some bad dog owners

We have been going to this park for a long time now and there is a man with a brindle mix that relentlessly antagonizes and nips at other dogs. He has ZERO control of his ill-mannered dog and his dog runs around starting fights with all of the other dogs. Bad owners ruin it for those of us that have friendly dogs and want a nice place to let our dogs off leash. My dog who is submissive and just loves to run and chase balls was attached by this dog 3 times today while he was minding his own business. Beware of this man and his dogs!

    Run with a view

This is a very clean, well maintained and scenic dog park. The dog park is next to another full service community park with soccer fields, basketball courts, kids play area and an inspiring view of the mountains!! It's worth the brief drive to this park.
