Freer Field

Freer Field is a pet-friendly community recreation area. This 78-acre park lies near the heart of Ashland, OH, and is home to two miles of hiking trails, including a one-mile paved loop. It's a great place to take your pup for a nice walk, as long as they're leashed and all mess is cleaned up after them. Visit Website

Something for everyone
A paved trail and a rustic trail. There is a playground and a “walking storybook”.
Pup loved seeing all the squirrels.
Everyone had dogs in control and leashed. Signs posted to pick up after your pets. Very clean.
Nice restrooms at visitors center.
