Recycled Roadrunner Sculpture

Fido can join you on the pet-friendly grounds of the Recycled Roadrunner Sculpture in Las Cruces, NM. Originally built in 1993, this giant recycled roadrunner -- 20 feet tall and 40 feet long -- is constructed of thrift store items and scrap metal from the Las Cruces recycling center. Look for it near the rest area on the south side of I-10. Dogs are welcome to stop by for a photo op. Visit Website

    Fun Stop

Easy to get to if you are traveling eastbound, but prepare to back-track if you are heading west. It was a neat stop along our road trip and there was plenty of parking.

Great Views , new Dog Relief Area.

Beautiful clean rest area, access to The Road Runner. Great view and a brand new dog relief area created by a local Boy Scout troop.

Carry In Carry Our Ya’ Coward

Totally worth checking out. However maybe leave your pup in the car because there and chicken wings and broken glass everywhere. Shame on the people who leave their bones and shattered beer bottles everywhere. Grow up. The bird and backdrop were 5 stars though.
