    Absolutely wonderful!

This park is what dogs dream of! There are acres of off leash freedom with a small creek and a ton of wide, easy to follow trails. They should have these everywhere!

Great except there are tons of aggressive dogs… be safe and do not take small dogs or kids here!

it would be great if it was controlled and private but it’s not and people bring very aggressive dogs here. my dog was almost attacked twice in the same day. she’s a puppy and she’s very submissive and cowers close to us. the fact she almost got attacked twice for doing nothing but existing is concerning. I’m not bringing her back after today’s experience. very sad as the nature is stunning. small dogs will be overpowered by lots and lots of big dogs. owners do not care and don’t even call for their dog when they see it trying to attack another dog.

    Natural And Magical

Well maintained and easy but interesting trails, splishy splashy creek, open space, POOP BAGS, pine cones, perfect. Great if your dog has good recall!

    Great for well behaved dogs

If your dog plays well with others you'll love this park. It's very safe as long as your dog respects your verbal commands. It's only partially fenced and you need to be careful in the parking area. A leached dog is sometimes not well received by others.

    Best dog park I've visited

We love to hike and explore, this off-leash park is perfect for us. The best part is the crystal clear creek that runs near the back of the park. My dog loves romping through it and so do my grandchildren.

I thought the park was deplorable.

While the woods and outdoor part of the park is very nice, unfortunately the pet owners are not all that "nice". By that I mean they do not pick up the poop so the smell is GHASTLY. And just because a dog is off-leash, the owner still bears some responsibility for their actions. My little dog was "attacked" by a group of other dogs while their owners just stood back and watched - did NOTHING to try to retrieve their pets. Mine was on a leash and had I not jerked him up into my arms I felt sure he would have been bitten.

It is a shame that such a lovely spot, which COULD BE a great dog park area, has to be spoiled by a few inconsiderate people.

    Very nice!

My dog loves this park! We have been four or five times and there are always several other dogs there to play with.

    FABULOUS Park But Not Fenced

Great location and trails, just no fence. So if your dogs are like mine and need physical boundaries because they don't always obey verbal commands such as "Come back over here", then this may not be a great fit. My dogs hate being on leashes when everyone else is running around loose and they get cranky. There are ample handy poo bags though and friendly clientele, just no fence.

Not All Dogs OR Owners are Friendly

today I was leaving the park with my nine year old golden retriever a group of young men with a few dogs were going away from the entrance a big black not neutered pit bull ran over to my dog owner calling dog the whole time his dog proceeded to try and mount my neutered male owner grabbed his dog please be careful of other dogs some should not be there suppose to be a friendly dog park it isn't some times.

    Great Park for the Pups

I had a great time when I took my two dogs to this park. It was very clean with nice trails and stations with poop bags. There were benches in a few spots along the main part of the trail and the streams were clean with sandy bottoms so great for wading in.

    Best dog park ever

This may sound weird, but I learned of this dog park, and I decided to take a road trip with my dog to check it out. It didn't disappoint. My dog loved to wander in the woods and try to sniff every square foot!

I loved the sun and the sound of the breeze through the pines.

One downside...people don't pick up poop. Listen, people....you have to be a good steward of such a treasure. Pick up your poop!

    Very nice Park

This has got to be the nicest dog park ever. We live in South Carolina, and we come up to Martin Park every weekend. A little piece of heaven for dog and owner wanting to meet other people and dogs. If you want to socialize your dog, this is the place to take your companion and friend.

    One of the Best

This was one of the best dog parks we have ever seen. Well maintained, clean, sandy, and it has a stream running through it.
