  Worth the detour

  this is a little ways off the highway, but we were glad that we made the detour. it’s a large fully fenced area with great views and good facilities: water, wading pools, loaner balls and Chuck-its. we had a great time!

  Nice spot

  We stopped here on our way to Seattle from Oakland. Great spot to let the dog burn off some energy after being in the car for a few hours. Easy to find, large enough that we were able to chuck the ball.

  A Must-Go in Redding!

  We live up in the mountains but shop in Redding and the high point of the day is hitting Benton.

  We have a large, young and wildly exuberant dog and she has a ball there. We almost always have at least many dogs she can run and play with, plus she enjoys the little pool for splashing around and good shade year-round. There is a smaller dog side as well and both sides have tables and seating.

  You and your dogs can have lunch next door at dog-friendly Benton Airpark Cafe. The Airpark owner has a stunning Stearman Navy bi-plane you can check out, too. It's in perfect condition and the dream plane for many pilots.

  Lots Of Space

  Just a big grassy field. A section fenced off for smaller dogs is a plus. A little bit of shade and a water area, but not the cleanest as a whole. But lots of room for running and fetch.

  Super cute and clean!

  Close enough to stop if traveling along I-5. Not fancy but super cute and I was there at 7am with no problems at all. Separate small dog area.

  Big Park, Scetchy People

  The park was super muddy because of the rain, lots of puddles. Clean for the most part but some of the tables and chairs were flipped over and graffitied. There were some people in the small dog area smoking and huddled up. The park didnt have a good vibe, maybe will try another day.

  plenty of shade and space

  Lots of seating for owners and space to run for dogs. Good shade, and although next to airport, not too noisy.

  Very nice fenced dog park. Easy to get to if you are traveling on I-5.

  Benton Airport Dog Park

  Fenced park near the airport. Areas for small and large dogs. Some trees for shade. Medium sized area, couple of miles off the freeway.
