    Great little spot

I go here with my dog when I'm working. The city is keeping it pretty clean, the people I've met there are nice and conciencious, and there's enough space for the dogs to run. Ive honestly been here at all hours of the night and found it safe as a petite woman. Puddles tend to pool in the gravel which the dogs love of course but I've heard others say it's a health concern for dogs drinking it.

    Dusty Mayhem

I've been to this park twice. It's a dirt patch in a depression the size of a city block that's accessible via a gate and staircase down at the Northwest corner of the park from a dead-end street. Both times I went here it was on sunny/dry says, and the amount of dust kicked up by the dogs was considerable. I can only imagine that it would therefore be muddy on rainy days, but I haven't experienced this myself. It's a pretty dismal park: a large open area surrounded by scrub brush and a few trees. There is a spigot and water bowls near the entrance, but oddly no trash cans, so when you clean up after your dog, you have to walk up the stairs, and out of the gate at the entrance to throw it away.
The main reason for my low rating, however, is that on both occasions that I was there, it was frequented by dog walkers, that let their dogs go, unsupervised. Dogs were running in packs picking on smaller or more timid dogs. It was a canine lord of the flies.
If I ever go back again, I will survey the park from my car first to see if the dog walkers are there.
