Beautiful dog park, trees, shade, a small fenced in pond for swimming (even a hose off station!), Toys, agility course, drinking fountain - seriously the best park we've been too! About 7 other dogs, but plenty of space and well behaved dogs!

Traveling from Kansas and decided to let our puppy stretch his legs. Only about a 4 minute drive from the highway. Our pup is only 16 weeks so we visited the small dog area, and he had a great time running around. The large dog area was much bigger. Waste bags were provided and there was also a nice water fountain and places to sit. The area was very clean and felt secure and safe. It was deserted when we went, which was nice because it was our pup’s first time at a dog park and we didn’t want him to be too nervous.
- AshtonSep. 5, 2021Great dog park!
This park was great for us driving from Indiana to Colorado! Right off 70. The park is very large and wooded, so great shade. The rinse station was a life saver before getting back on the road!
- KirstenJul. 21, 2021Lots of shade!
There were a lot of trees and things for them to run around and play with. There was also plenty of seating for the humans. One of the gates leads to a paved trail that goes along the lake that you can bring your leashed dog on.

Large dog park with water fountains, poop bags, a separate park for small dogs and a fenced off area for dogs to play in the pond. There is even a wash station as you exit. Plenty of benches and shade as well. Everyone in the park was friendly. Just what our girls need during our travel days so they can get out and stretch their legs!
- Stacey BillingerMore than a year agoHas a pond and lots of shade. also has water fountains
I love that this park is right off 1-70 and is one of few that drinking water, all shade, and a pond for the dogs to swim in. There is also an area to clean your dogs after.

Shady, very large park. Right off the interstate so it was easy to use as we were traveling through the area.

I took both of my dogs to the park today for the first time. I had been to the Lee's Summit Park before and prefer the grass to the mulch. There were several mud puddles and my dog being black came out with mulch attached and pretty muddy. I do appreciate the hose down area, but I think I will go to the Lee's Summit park from here on in.

July 28, 2013 I have enjoyed the dogs and people I have met in the multiple visits made to the park but today a concern arose-the gate between the large dog park and the pond/dog park is no longer secure. My dog jumped against the gate and in he was to the pond unfortunately followed by one other dog. The dog enjoyed the water immensely but in all the other visits this had not been an issue. I hope the gate is secured again quickly for the dog has enjoyed his time with all his K9 friends.

I have truly never been to a better facility. This doesn't even seem like a dog park. It's a 2.7 acre plot of natural land that happens to be fenced and allows dogs. Seriously. Our dog has never been happier and to see her running at full tilt was a real joy. You can also take a walk in the nature preserve behind the park so that everyone in your group gets a little exercise. We will definitely be back.

The best dog park in the Kansas City .
- SarahMore than a year agoGreat Park!
Fantastic 3+ acre, shaded, off leash, fenced park with all the amenities. Friendly people and three separate areas for dogs. One small dog park, one large common area park and one park with a pond. Great times here!
