This park makes great use of that unused ballpark space. Its not a huge park, but allows for a great place for dogs to stretch their legs during a long drive. It is pretty convenient to get to off I-90. There isn’t shade or water. It is mostly clean, people seem to try to clean up after their dogs. Definitely worth the stop!
- AmySep. 8, 2019Nice Little Dog Park
Contrary to the claim of a reviewer a month ago, this park is open. It shares a fence with the south side of the ball park, near the corner of Highland and Ellis. It's not the fanciest dog park, but it's grassy and clean. It's almost as long as a ball field, with a path right down the middle, although not very wide. I watched a Labrador run up and down it exuberantly, while my beagle sniffed around in the grass. There are a couple benches and some chairs near the entrance. No water, so bring your own. I didn't, but a very nice owner shared his. In fact, everyone at the park was nice, dogs and owners both.

Great place to stop on our road trip! Dogs were able to stretch their legs and enjoy themselves! They were the only ones here in the snow so they loved it!
- AmandaMore than a year agoNice little basic dog park
After spending 6 days in the back of my pick-up truck driving across country, my three pups were thrilled to have a nice place to run. It's basic, no water or shade, but it has a nice couple of benches and chairs and a picnic table. Across the street from the hospital, next to the softball fields.

A fenced in area with grass. No shade, no water, no play structures.
