    Yick

This is my first review on bring Fido; I am new to the area and decided to warn others about this park. It’s a little gross. It’s all mulch, no grass and feels dirty. The water area looked sketchy. The people I encountered could not have been less friendly and the dogs are aggressive. My dogs were like, “can we leave now?”
    Not going back.

Regulars are disrespectful & no rules are enforced

Owner lets her dogs hump with very little care about how other people feel about it. That dog is going to get a puppy pregnant which is SO dangerous. Her justification is that the dog is a “little Italian boy” (her words) and just doesn’t take no for an answer.

Just take the extra drive and go to another park because this one is not worth being around such careless people.

Needs upkeep & some regulars are problematic

non friendly dogs & owners use this park while not caring about the other people & their dogs.

Park is small but fun for the dogs. Met some fun people. Great spot when your traveling up I-95.

Needs upkeep, some regulars are problematic

The fencing is in good condition at present, however some regulars to the park can be problematic (yappy or snappish). Bring your own water supply, dish, and outdoor-capable toy. Don't expect a lot of grass as it is also visited by local Deer population. Visitors are encouraged to pick up after their dogs.

    not much of a dogpark

the town does a terrible job of maintenance here. park is truly digusting. one owner went to get water at the Orchard House outdoor spigot and one of the staff came out and swore at her. she had been told that it was ok to get water from there, so we were all surprised at anger! if you are looking for a good dog park close by, try fort hale in east haven. new haven has a great park on union street although it is a little further away.

Pretty good except for a few smaller dogs on weeknights

Its a decent dog park, some muddy areas. There is a group of smaller dogs that come most week nights that are kind of hippy and not nice. One small orange one that doesn't really play and the owner is over protective of. Besides that, everyone is pretty nice.

    Dog issues

Park is very muddy and not very well kept. Also there is an ow er who frequents the park with his two pitbulls. Very bite prone, dogs wouldn't even let my dog and I in the park without growling and lunging at my dog. The owner claims they're okay and it's just how dogs are but owner beware you will have a situation on your hands as they are NOT friendly and the.owners live very close by.

    Broken Fence

Not the best dog park. Very muddy when it rains. There is no one to maintain it. Fence is broken where a tree fell over a year ago but the people who go here are nice. Very crowed on Sundays with lots of kids, can be chaotic.

    Needs Upkeep

This park was a mess. Grass was overgrown (great spot for ticks & other bugs.) Sides of park had weeds & overgrown, cut back bushes. A danger for any dog . The only positive feature was they provided water, & it is fenced in.
