    Awesome!!

I absolutely loved my Belle’s experience at this dog park !! I saw someone mentioned an agility area .. where is it ?? Did i miss this ?! Everyone in the small dog area picked up behind their dogs and were all so friendly!Being my dog is only 3 pounds i have to watch her every move !! All the dog were gentle and playing nice while i was there 🥰! I certainly will be going back soon !!

Great small dog in Baton Rouge!

I don't have any experience in the large dog section or the ponds, but the small dog area is A+! There are always quite a few pups when I visit and the owners are responsible in maintaining the park (picking up poop). I would definitely recommend over the Raising Cane's park for small dogs.

Good clean park with a dirty "pool"

It was great taking my puppy there for his first time out my only concern was I thought the pool was actually like a upkept area but it's really just a murky dirty water other then that it was a great experience!!

    Versatile park

This is a very versatile park and has everything your pup could want: there is a gated area for small pups, a large gated area for large pups complete with mud and a walking trail with benches for humans, a separate agility area, and a gated lake area. The lakes are a favorite for our labs - and there are two fenced in areas (for small and large pups) and each has a shallow splash pool with steps leading into them. Plenty of fresh water and bags available. The only downside is that not everyone is diligent in cleaning after their dog so you need to watch your step!

    Its nothing special

The park is good but doesn't have any options and unless they have lots of other dogs the place seems boring even if you bring toys your dog. there are lots of fights but they have two separate pins one for big dogs and one for small dogs. for the most part its fine but its not great either.

    Dog Fights

The weekend is the worst time to go. I've seen a dog fight every time we have gone. I've also seen that white dog attack another dog. No police around. People bring unsocialized dogs and aggressive dogs. Going during the week and early is the best time. There really needs to be police presence on the weekend.

    its ok

I love this park don't get me wrong, but a lot of people let their dogs just run and run and they don't even bother to watch their dogs... my dog was attacked and had a piece of her ear bitten off, and I was standing within 3 feet from her, the attacking dogs owners were over 30 feet away and did NOTHING while my dog was bleeding everywhere... that is my only complaint, is that people with aggressive dogs shouldn't come here, or they should pay attention or watch their animals... she has been attacked more than once and mounted by a male dog that wasn't fixed... and the owners did nothing... But its a nice park, its just the negligence of the people there...

    friendly

I'm sorry #8 had a bad experience. It's a wonderful park that we go to almost daily. I've seen many Boxers but have not encountered the one you mention. However, it surprises me how well the dogs do get along and play and just tolerate each other.

    BEWARE!!!

BEWARE!!! My dog was attacked at this park and the owner didn't call his dog off. If you see a fat, white man, 35-45 years old, with a male boxer, fawn & white, stay AWAY! His dog is very aggressive and he does nothing to control his dog. I am never going back again and I would recommend if you do, be very careful, especially from this owner and his dog.

    My favorite park!

This park was one of the coolest parks we've been to! Plenty of room to run around and play with other dogs and they had a pool!! Our labs love the water and splashed around the pool for as long as we let them :) Only complaint would be owners with aggressive dogs not being very attentive but that didn't stop us from coming back all week! Highly recommend.

    Love this place!

Great grounds with a pool, but the people really make it special. Everyone is so nice, and so are most of the dogs...very well trained and friendly.

    Lots of Fun

I really like this park. There is plenty of room in the large dog area as well as a quarter mile walking path. The grounds are well maintained. On the other side of the park is a fenced retriever pond for anyone who has a water baby.

    BREC Dog Park

Awesome dog park. Has separate large and small dog areas and a pool for the dogs. Also has a separate retrieving pond.
