Extremely unpleasant experience.
Been traveling on the road for four days and wanted my dog to get a good run.
As we got to the park we got greeted by dangerous dogs who the owners did not give a heck about controlling.
Avoid this park at all cost only attend if you are part of the regular goers.
Not a friendly bunch. - CatherineApr 26, 2024So clean!
We stopped on our way to Tennessee from KC. So very nice how everyone does a good job cleaning up after their dog; no poop piles! Big trees for shade and water for the dogs.

Traveling from MN to GA and stop at dog parks every evening. Lovely park with very pleasant dog park area. Dogs were friendly and owners were especially welcoming. Very well-maintained by owners, nice perimeter for getting some owner exercise after a long driving day.

Traveling through on vacation. Great place to get your dog’s energy out.

Our dogs had a great time running and barking like fools! lol We stop every 3 hours when we traveling and they were excited to be here!
- KrissyAug 15, 2022Nice park right off the highway
A good dog park and conveniently located a few minutes from the highway. The park was large and some great shading for a hot day. People were also really friendly, too! Will definitely stop here again on our next road trip.

driving from Florida to Montana we have definitely been benefitting from dog parks off the highway. no one was here. it was perfect for him to run around. poop bags and trash cans and even a few port-a-pottys. great experience.
- CheriNov 20, 2021Great park… love the separate play areas for large and small dogs!
We were looking for a dog park as a break during a road trip. Our dog loved playing in the small dog play area. There was a friendly group of ladies that were local that gave us some local restaurant suggestions. Nice water station! Large area for dogs to run as well as a couple of picnic tables for owners to visit. Inly draw back were a couple of water puddles that my dog went right to… anything to get wet! well done Paducah…this is a great dog park!

Gabby loves this park. Walking trails, huge fenced area for big or little dogs. Mutt Mitts, trash cans, water, shade, picnic tables and shelter houses. Great time meeting new friends and running through the fall leaves.

the perfect dog park, it is huge!! and the people were so nice. we were on a long road trip and the park is just off the highway nestled behind a road with lots of food and gas options!

a great place, close to the highway for a quick break! the road leading into the park is misleading, but keep going because the park is great!
- MaverickSep 7, 2020Nice Dog Park
This was the first dog park for our pup and he LOVED it. The other owners were so patient with his young exploring. Mavericks and his playmates ran for a good hour before tiring out and heading back to the hotel.

Well maintained, something for your whole family. The locals are welcoming and every kind of breed dog and owner where there. Definitely on our favorite list.

Loved this park. Discovered it on our road trip while staying at the Homewood Suites. Only a couple miles away and so clean and lovely. Paducah should be proud of this park.

There is so much room to run even in the small dog park!! This lark is wonderful. It has been under construction for a while but it is still one of my favorites.

We were coming through tonight on the way home from NC with 8 dogs. It is snowing. Very cold. I had found the dog park online hoping to get all 8 dogs walked at one time to keep moving before the roads got worse. As we pulled in the park ranger was closing the gates due to weather. We stopped and explained our situation and she graciously stated and let us walk the dogs. To be able to walk them all at one time was a life saver. She truly was a saint tonight! Great facility!

We were visiting from out of state & took our pups to play Thanksgiving afternoon. The facility is great! Clean, well kept & even provided waste bags. The regulars (Sadie, Brittney, Brick, Delta, Midnight, the howling hound, & others I can’t remember) & their hoomans were nice & welcoming. This place is a treasure that Paducah should be extremely proud of! We know for future visits to bring a bucket for the pups to drink out of. There is a spigot to get water from.

We love the dog park! Lots of room to run and play. We've been on the under 35lb side and there are always several doggie friends to play with when we go. I love the bags they provide.

Stopped here for a break from Kansas to Tennessee. What a great place! Nice seats wrapped around trees. Motion sensor water spouts! Thanks Paducah!
- LaurelMore than a year agoTough to find but worth the visit
The park was a little hard for us to find but we were glad we did. Plenty of space for our dog to run and grass to run on. There was also shade for the owners.

This a wonderful place to bring your dog. I like that i can bring Benny (my beagle) at 6am or as late as 9pm. I wish we had a place like this at the lake. Thank-you Paducah

We were looking for a place for our dog to safely stretch his legs during a long car trip, and found this on the internet. It was relatively close to I-24 (Exit 4/Hinklelville Road), but the entrance to the park is a little obscure -- it's Stuart Nelson Road, just before the Jeep dealership on your left if you are going north from I-24 (NOT County Park Road, ironically). Once you get there, though, the park itself is pretty. Obviously new, they hadn't quite figured out year-round maintenance when we visited -- the dirt areas in front of the entrance where all the foot traffic HAS to go were pretty much a mudpit due to a recent rain. We stepped carefully inside the gate and edged along the gate for a few yards until we got to the grassy area, and after that, it was fine. The open space is slightly rolling, so there's some variety to the landscape. The fence is only 4' tall, so if you have a dog who can jump, you are going to want to keep a strict eye on them. Several large mature trees provided shade, and there's no seating in the park except for a covered pavillion in the corner of the park with a picnic table (ideally, it should have been in the middle of the park, towards the rear of the lot, where an owner could easily oversee their dog's whereabouts.) There's an area for small dogs, too (under 30 lbs.) We were the only one there that day in early January, so can't speak to the behavior of the other dogs. I'd love to see this park when it's not so muddy -- it has a lot going for it.
