    Large but not kept up

This is a big park, but the water is not on on the large dog side and the grass needs mowed. There is standing water under the water pump.

    Lots Of Room

Lots of room for big dogs to run! (There is a separate area for small dogs that is equally nice)

    freshwater. little shade

As the picture shows, there is very little shade here. But there is fresh well water. The gun range is about three or 400 yards from the park itself. I've visited his park eight times before I ever heard shots fired. It did not bother my dog in the least, although I could see how It could bother others. Not once has the treatment plant emitted any odors while I was there with my dog.

    Nice park

The shooting range is muzzle loaders that shoot in the opposite direction from the park and it is located on Erie Street.

    Very nice dog park

Yes, the dog park is beside the wast treatment plant, in all the years I have been going there, only one time, I smelled the sewer, and it was not very bad, nothing like Massillon's plant and thy belt a shopping center beside it. Shooting range, is about 1/2 mile away and thy shoot the opposite direction. there is two sides to the dog park for large and small dogs, there is water for the dogs, it's not usually turned on till about May. Each side of the dog park is 50 X 200 Ft, nice for the dog to run, there is also an portable outhouse, that also not there about the first part of May, there are two or three picnic tables on each side, there is parking at each end of the dog park, but the one end you will have to walk down a small hill, this is the only dog park I go to and my dog can't wait to get there. thank you

    Stay Away

Don't waist your time visiting this park. I give the city credit for trying to accommodate dog owners. But the park is located in a sewage treatment plant. So dealing with the smell is one issue. The next and biggest issue is located across the street is a gun shooting range. Every time someone discharged a firearm it severely spooked my dog. Then I kept thinking about stray bullets hitting me or my dog. After ten minutes we left.
