    Great dog park

I’m always looking for dog parks or any fenced in space when traveling and this area is so nice and well-kept with a double fence area and the Mountain View’s are so nice

    Let them run...

This was a great park for Luna to stretch her legs and get her zoomies in. We went on a very snowy morning and only one other dog was inside. they had fun chasing each other around and she let us know when she was ready to go as usual. haha. On the outside of the dog park sleds are available to go down the small hill by the dog park.

    Nice Resort Break

Staying at a dog friendly resort, but my dog needs his daily sprint after being cooped up in a hotel room a day. This park was a great place to let him meet new dog friends and enjoy his vacation as well. Enjoyed watching families sled down a nearby hill while meeting friendly new Poe ole

    great park

So no there is not a double gate system but in 8 years living here I have never seen a dog try and get out. They all want to stay. It's a very casual dog park, most people are cool letting the dogs figure things out. There are always a few instances where a dog needs to be removed but it's rare. If you're uptight about jumping, nipping, and wrestling this is not the dog park for you. There are 4 gates and all 4 have doggy bag stations with 2 large barrel dumpsters next to 3. Two picnic tables are available but you are as likely to see a dog on top of one as you are to see people. My dogs love the freedom of this park and the local hands-off approach.

    best day for Luca

First time of our boxer in a dog park, BEST DAY EVER, every dog was super friendly, as well as the dog owners. Only thing to be careful is that the door does not close that well, so you need to be careful and lock it behind you!

    great park

We're traveling from California to Massachusetts and decided to stop here to let our German Shepard play. Great park a lot of furry animals and the people were very nice. It doesn't have a "small" or "big" dog area but they all seemed to get along.

    Lots of fun

After a 3 hour trip we stopped at Carter Dog Park and our 41 pound 9 month old puppy had a great time(So did our 8 and 11 year old sons). The people were friendly and so were the other dogs. The dogs inside the park do like to greet a new dog when they show up, but it did not seem to really bother anyone when we were there. We will stop here again on our next trip to the area.

    Fun Park!

My dogs had a wonderful time at this park. It has a very casual atmosphere, so you won't fit in if you get uptight over your dog. There could be a better gate entry system with double gates to prevent escapes, also, the dog water bowl should have a way to be kept drained and cleaner. That being said, my dogs had such a good time we have stopped by there four times in one day. They are now in our room, snoring like old men. My dogs give this park four paws up.

    Doggy Meet and Greet

We were vacationing with our 3-year-old Lab - very sociable. He loved being able to interact with other dogs and showing off his fetching skills! Mostly big dogs, but there was a chihuahua holding his own.

    No "airlock"

We just visited the park. We found there was no "airlock" type gate system. We went to the gate and 3 dogs immediately congregated around to meet the newcometr. but I was not about to open the gate. Nor was I going to take the chance that someone else would do such a favor for my dog. Furthermore, there were at least two entrances so that you couldn't see what was happening at both at the same time. Stupid design.
