Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge

The 4,000-acre pet-friendly Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge is a vast wildlife sanctuary located along the shores of the Gastineau Channel near Juneau, Alaska. Visitors are presented with a variety of recreational opportunities, including hiking, boating and wildlife viewing. The refuge also boasts great fishing and waterfowl hunting.
