    Really dirty dog Park

I went to this park in early April, 2023. It was mostly gravel, mud and a little grass. It was so loaded with excrement that my golden retriever wouldn't pick up his ball. Walking to retrieve the ball was when I noticed that it appeared no one picked up after their dog. I turned around and left, leaving the ball. On the way back to my hotel I spotted a park that was perfect for letting my guys run. Maybe because of the snow the lazy dog owners weren't picking up after their dogs. It was the most disgusting dog park I've been too, and I drive across country 2x pet year.

    Awesome dog park

Large off leash spot for large and small dogs. Next to the animal shelter.

    Great Spot!

Took our girls here as we were passing through Cheyenne… wonderful spot- convenient, clean, agility equipment, separate areas for big/small dogs, and lots of trash bins. Nice locals too!!

    Sandy Loves It

it could be better! there’s wood in the middle of the park that needs picked up from a thing that was never built. watch your dogs because some aren’t as friendly as others! but besides that we love it!

Great spot to let off steam - slippery a frame

Our two Brittanys enjoyed a good 30 minute romp before our drive West! Lots of space to run, water barrels and some agility toys (be careful - a frame and table are slippery!) Plenty of space, fenced with poop bags and trash bags. Nice donation option to the animal shelter next door!

    Very Good

traveling with our Great Dane and two Irish Wolfhounds, this was a great find. huge space for them to run and burn off energy.

they provide grocery bags for poop bags and for the most part, at least during our visit, there wasn’t an abundance of poop on the ground.

Very easy to get to, with clear signage.

    Excellent Stop

I’m traveling from California to Missouri so stopping are musts. this park is spacious, clean, and so much fun. I’m only giving 4/5 because it tolls like they’re building a new attraction for the dogs and had lumber laying around. there are plenty of waste stations and bags as well!

    Great Park

We love bringing our dogs here. We go all the time it is right next to the animal shelter. They have 2 areas one small then a large area. The areas are fenced in and have picnic tables in both. The large area also supplies water, exercise/training items, a covered area, garbage cans, toys have been left out there when I was there and the grass has always been cut. They do have a box for poop bags but I just always bring my own I figure they do enough already. Between there and the shelter!!! Every Time we go the the people have been really nice and so have the dogs..My only complaint is sometimes we will go and if a dog jumped into the big water container someone will empty it refill it so there dog can get a clean water drink. Over and over again and before you know it we have a huge puddle of water and a lot of muddy dogs. UGHHH. Also I see a lot of people like to go and walk around the large area with there dogs so both the adults and dogs get exercise. And some just sit and let there dogs run and play and some bring toys or use the toys there or work the dogs out on the exercise/training items. It's all in what you make of it but we and our dogs always have a good time.

i looked the dog park up online and went there expecting the worst. sure the grass was long and what had been mowed looked like a hayfield, but really folks how fancy does the grass have to be for your beloved mutt? i took a yard rake and extra bags cuz i was warned they are always out. very little sighns of people not cleaning up after their dogs. good enough for me and my mutts.

    bad news

I've been visiting this park for over three years. If you manage to visit right after the grounds have been cleaned, a rare occurrence, the physical environment is tolerable. But that isn't the rule; it is the exception. Responsible dog owners are few and far between. Not recommended.

    great place for dogs

This place was perfect for my dog. Nice size park and well maintained. Although I couldn't find any poop bags, so bring yours along just in case. I did run into a few irresponsible pet owners, so please pay attention. Other than that great place.

    Convenient for travelers

This park was a quick trip off Hi 25 and easy to find. Large fenced-in area gave my dogs a break from the car. We had the place to ourselves mid-morning, but it was definitely well-used and well-cared for.
