Mount Rainier National Park

Leashed dogs are welcome in some regions of the pet-friendly Mount Rainier National Park in Ashford, WA. Dogs are permitted on roads, parking lots, campgrounds, and on a small portion of the Pacific Crest Trail near the park's eastern boundary. However, they are prohibited from trails, buildings and the backcountry. Your pet must always be under your control and may not be staked. Visit Website

    Paws on the Pavement

    They are pretty strict at Mount Rainier National Park. The park ranger wanted me to know, dogs were only allowed in the parking lot.
