The people and dogs I’ve met here are great. The city just cut down the tree with nuts that are toxic for dogs, which is great. It’s an awesome quick stop when my puppy is antsy and just wants to run. Does get quite muddy in the winter though.

The location and size of this Dog park can't be beat. There is, however, a tree that drops nuts that are toxic to dogs right in the center. They're all over. The city leaves buckets for patrons to collect them in, but people fill those with water for dogs to drink.
There are some great dogs and owners at this park, but also many owners who bring out of control, aggressive dogs. The "small dog area" is ridiculous. It's the size of a medium to large backyard kennel.
There are grocery produce bags available for excrement collection, and one unshaded picnic table. The skatepark and restrooms nearby are largely inhabited by homeless people for the majority of the day, and there is crime at times, so just be aware of your surroundings.
