    Great place to stop

We stayed in Santee and let our boy run off some energy before heading north. Well taken care of.

Fun little dog run stop with a great candy and knick knack shop -

We had a little daylight left so stopped at Stuckeys. Perfect small dog run with decent fencing and nice grass. The little sundries shop with DQ, has a nice local vibe. They also have 8 Tesla chasing stations.

5-star for a gas station park

I think this is one of the nicest fenced in dog parks a gas station could offer. The fencing seems in good shape, if you have a true escape artist just keep an eye on them. It’s not massive, but it was big enough for my husky to get to TopSpeed. My smallest dog hates dog parks, and gave her best shot to sneak under the gate to get back to the car. I don’t think she totally would’ve said, but she’s about 20 pounds. Anything smaller probably could have gotten under there if you weren’t paying attention. For the most part it was free of dog poop, there was a station with bags and a trashcan available. No water that I could see. It’s at the back of the gas station, and you can park right by the fence. It was quiet when we were there in December. It is a single gate entry, so there is no space for unleashing. You’re either in the park or you’re out of it. Just something to consider if your dog is a runner and somebody else comes in behind you. Really appreciated this gas station maintaining such a spot for the dogs, and would definitely return. Thanks, Stuckey’s!

    Quiet little spot

Right off 95, this was a good spot for our pup to stretch his legs. The area around the park was a little run down, but the park itself was in pretty good shape. Grass surface.

    Cute little stop!

Stucky’s is right off the exit and a cute little fenced in area. A great place to get some of your dogs energy out during a road trip!
