Nice path around the site. No shade for hot days. Must walk with dog in the grass, not on the paved walk way. Very friendly park rangers and visitors.
- SarahMay 30, 2023Good walking path
we knew we could not bring our dog to the memorial sections because of the seriousness of the event commemorated. We were happy to walk along the path and see the site of the crash from a distance. good clean bathrooms for humans, no water fountain for humans was working the day we visited and none for dogs. Well-maintained pedestrian and hiking paths that allow leashed dogs

The low review was from someone upset dogs can’t go inside … duh dogs can’t go inside most national park buildings but there’s a lot to explore with your 4-legged friend.

While it claims to be dog friendly, any of the reasons you'd go here - the historical elements like the museum or the wall of names - are blocked from dogs. The only thing they're allowed to do is walk the path, but visiting in winter after a lot of snow, the path was closed off. Definitely a must see memorial, but don't count on it being something you want to bring your pup to.
