Well maintained, responsible dog owners. Lots of trails . Open play area , picnic tables. Well worth the membership fees.

You do have to pay online now, though - there's nowhere to pay at the park anymore. It gets really crowded at certain times with no parking in the lot, but the dogs get so excited we don't even say the word, "Dakota" in front of them unless we're planning to go right then. It's a well-maintained area that gets fresh mulch and branches removed, etc. It is also next to a compost pile so you're going to be smelling that sometimes.

This park is well maintained with mulched paths. There are water bowls and extra bags at the park. There are 2 entrances with double gates. When you enter, it is a big open area where most people seem to hang out with there dogs. To the left is a wooded area with trails that run through. I suggest going early although, even at 6am, there were a couple people at the park. It cost's $5 dollars each time unless you buy a year pass. I have met a couple nice people at the park but there are some aggressive dogs. Pack of huskies, Bernese, etc... Some people get upset when your dog comes to greet their dog.I thought this was off-leash? The first time I came to this park, I asked a lady where to pay and her response was, "Oh..., You're not a member?" (In a snobby tone) If you are close to the park, this one is fine but there are many free parks that are much larger and better with less people.

I have been taking my weimaraner here for the past couple years. He LOVES it and gets so excited when we pull up. People are freindly, dogs are well behaved and the park is well maintained.

very, very well maintained. My lab loves this park. Plenty of space to run and nice well taken care of wooded trails for your dog to explore without the worry of your dog getting lose (fully fenced in). my only downfall is that i did not discover this dog park sooner.

This park is fantastic. It's a large, beautifully wooded, fenced-in area. We've seen deer in the adjacent fields many times while driving to and from the park. Take your dog off leash, let them run free.

This dog park is hands down the best in Dakota Cty. It is 16 acres and includes trails that are covered in wood chips that cover woods and open fields. By having the trails the dogs and owners mainly walk and you dont' have a lot of standing around which can lead to dogs getting into fights. Toys and treats are not allowed which also is good in that you don't have dogs getting possesive and causing fights.
