      Great dog park…..sometimes

      Congers Dog park can be such a great dog park. There are 2 separate enclosures, one for dogs under 25 pounds and the other for dogs over 25 pounds. My dog weighs 11 pounds so I normally take him to play in the smaller dog enclosure. Sometimes the dogs in the larger dog enclosure can get very aggressive and I’ve heard stories of dogs, and owners there, getting hurt so be careful and be aware of your surroundings. I see people just taking their dogs off leash and going to make calls, texts, etc. I keep my eyes on my dog when it gets busy but on average it’s a great place to take your dog. In the big dog enclosure there is a spigot with water and poop-bag dispensers in both enclosures, usually stocked and the trash is removed pretty regularly. The dog park is part of the larger Congers Lake Memorial Park.
