Good for a decent local day hike. I do recommend the south trail to the lighthouse because you’ll get more nicer views. I was expecting more of a “breathtaking” lighthouse and beach but it was ok only. My pup still enjoyed his hike.

Beautiful park and gorgeous views and scenery. We went on a mostly clear, mostly sunny Sunday. Lots of trails, some paved , some gravel, and some dirt. Although there were a lot of people at the park we only encountered a few. Talked with a lovely group of people out bird watching which was funny because we were there with my son’s English Setter who is a bit bird crazy. Walking along the paths to the accompaniment of bird songs, we were able to forget that we were in a city. Great place to get away from the city sights, sounds, and smells when you are visiting. And up at Ft. Collins there is a beautiful view of Elliot Bay and the snowy mountains beyond. Met lots of friendly puppies during our meanderings.
