It's fine
Most of the people are friendly. Some opinionated but that seems to be a trend everywhere. Grass is pretty much dirt now because of the drought but dogs don't mind. Most of the dogs are very friendly, occasionally someone will have an unruly dog but nothing vicious in the last year I have been going.

Seemed like a good place at first
Seemed like a good place at first, but neither the people nor the dogs were friendly. Some larger aggressive dogs rolled my lab mix and had to be physically pulled apart. Too bad--Novato needs a good dog park. Unfortunately, I'll keep driving mine down to Civic Center or Mill Valley.

Good Dog Park
There is grass, shade, a small dog area, an agility course and city provided doggie bags. What more could one ask for?
