Great dog Park. But, BE CAREFUL OF THEFT from your Vehicle!

This is a great dog park. But unfortunately, our car was broken into and my purse was stolen. We mistakenly parked off to the side of the parking lot where it was not well lit and further away from the dog park entrance. Even though our vehicle was locked they somehow picked the car door lock. Word to the wise. Park closer to the entrance of the dog park under the lights.

Overall not a bad park - just kind of small. However, our very first trip, we had BIG time issues with the kids playing soccer. One of them was kicking a soccer ball (outside of the fence) at the fence purposely to drive one of our dogs crazy. I went over and asked him politely to stop. About 5 minutes later, we had our backs turned playing fetch with our two dogs when I noticed he and another kid were flipping up both gate latches and took off allowing all the dogs to escape. Luckily, I got the dogs attention over to me to leash them quick while my boyfriend chased down the two kids to locate the parents. When he found the parents, neither one spoke English, so I doubt the kids were disciplined. My goal for telling you this is just to be vigilant for bratty kids if you are there during soccer games.

    small but decent

Small fenced in area for dogs to run and play, but they don't seem to mind. Not as busy and crowded as Cosmo, but since my dog is older this us a plus for him. Only drawback as usual are the humans. Small children really shouldn't be there, and small children carrying large bags of snacks REALLY shouldn't be where dogs are running off leash. Live the drinking fountains.

    Lady with Great Dane

Love the dog park, but on Mondays there is a older lady with a Great Dane that told my wife and another lady with a well manored German Shepherd that people here don't like German Shepards. She is a real stick in the mud. Everybody else love our dogs.

Nice dog park, although the people do not abide by the rules. Timid/ small dogs have a designated area, yet people get upset when larger animals go near there dogs. Miserable people make it a poor experience and as they claim to be regulars, I and several others choose to go elsewhere and would not recommend this park to others.

    Nice people, no shade

We like to bring our 2 dogs to this park as the people are always friendly and so are their dogs. It is a little further from home, but worth it for the babies to run free. The only minor downside is that there is no trees or shaded areas within the park on hotter days. Would recommend to others.
