    Nice state park!

The only downside to this state park is that dogs cannot go on the beach, boardwalks or in buildings. We had a nice walk with our dog through some of the trails. She was excited to see some of the wildlife. This would also be a great place to camp as they are in the process of updating that area.

    Limited access for dogs

$8 to enter the park, due to the limitations on dog access we exhausted the couple of trails in under 1 hour, not good value.

    Primitive Trails

This is a beautiful state park. Dogs are not allowed on the beach nor the board walk but that did not deter from our enjoyment. Some of the trails are water logged but this IS Florida, so plan appropriately. We very much enjoyed our time there!
