    Great park!

I love the size of this park and the water stations. Theres a separate smaller fenced in area inside the large area and that was a great idea. Very nice area! 5 stars for sure

New location for Elkin Dog Park!

Due to the other location being a little soggy after it rained, the new location is a block away on higher ground. Located on E Standard Street, directly across the street from Crater Park's eastern entrance and a playground, the dog park is fenced and has separate areas for large and small dogs. This location is across the RR tracks from Angry Troll Brewing. Public Restrooms are 2 blocks from the park at 115 W Main Street. Public parking is on sight. No smoking permitted. The original location for the dog park by the river can still be used, but please keep your dogs on a leash as we have a leash law within town limits. Thanks!

    Nice Spot by Yadkin River

if traveling from the north set your GPS for Crater Park Boat Ramp.
it was quite muddy today but there are some really nice partially shaded pens and fresh water for your pups. it’s a secluded spot by the river and there are plenty of walking trails nearby.. No bathrooms for the humankind.
