Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is pet friendly! This 1,492-acre park is located in the City of South El Monte, CA, and is one of Los Angeles County’s largest and most popular recreation areas. Bring your pooch along on a leash to explore the trail around the water. The park is located on both sides of the Pomona Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue. Great morning.
love this walk... all the way around it’s about 3 miles and the atmosphere is so calming. my pup loves to walk around and she loves to bark at the ducks and squirrels.... it is an on-leash park, but great to get your pup a good walk in the beautiful park within a busy city. go early because it does get busy.
