    Dog-friendly Miller Ferries runs an 18-minute trip from the tip of Catawba Island in Port Clinton, OH to Put-In-Bay on South Bass Island. From there you can explore Perry's National Monument, caves, wineries, trails, live entertainment, festivals & events, and lodging & camping. Leashed or crated dogs are welcome on the lower deck of the ferry free of charge. Visit Website

      This was a beautiful ride on the water. Dogs ride free.

      Dogs Ride Free!

      Thank you Miller Ferry for allowing our dogs to come to the island with us. And, for not charging extra for dogs. The ride is smooth, and the dogs don't seem to mind crossing the Lake on the ferry.

      Dog friendly

      There were no issues or extra charges for bringing our pup on the ferry. In fact, we told the ticket counter worker we were bringing our dog, and they gave us a treat! Make sure you feel the ground and make sure it’s not too hot for dog paws. there is an overhang over the lower deck that should provide enough shade for a cool spot.
