    Exhausting

Pet friendly hike but a brutal hike!! Everyone I know said with a pa ed road it’s easy. True but the incline is horrible. My 12 lb dog was so beat by the time we were 3/4 up he wouldn’t walk anymore and I had to carry him. Sad that there’s no where to even put your feet in the water especially with the brutal heat. And the gift shop isn’t dog friendly which is hard when traveling alone and you want to grab something I side. Make sure you have proper shoes, water and a walking stick

Easy hike to the falls and extremely pet friendly. Lots of families, dogs, friendly people and peaceful nature.

Beautiful falls but crowded and not great for senior dogs

This used to be a hidden treasure, but is now crowded even on a weekday. Not a great choice for senior dogs or dogs in a stroller as the path is very steep and narrow. It is also now $5 a person instead of car.

fun way to spend an hour with your dogs

$5/person entry and moderate but short hike. My dogs loved smelling and seeing everything. Very pretty patio-style viewing location of the falls- no places to swim or touch the water- lots of signs saying not to leave the paved path

    Beautiful

the walk is less than a half a mile, but it is very steep. my 3 goldens had no problem . there are lots of stops on the way to rest and take photos. there is a $5 entry per person but the views are well worth it !

    Hiked in from Unicoi SP

Dog enjoyed the hike in from the state park. Saw several other dogs from the falls to the parking lot as well.

    Beautiful!

This was an absolutely gorgeous waterfall. We read online that it was a paved trail so we were thinking it would be easy, we were wrong. It has a steep incline all the way up and I ended up having to carry my 12 pound dog up because it was too steep for her. Once you get to the top the views are gorgeous and well worth the trek. Wear comfortable shoes and bring lots of water for the pups but definitely a must do.
