Very dog friendly
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham TiftonWe stayed here for one night on Christmas as we are traveling through. The staff is so kind and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and there is a nice spot out back for walking your dog. We loved our stay.
Dogs Allowed Inside And Out
Grumpy Old Men Brewingwe liked this place because they allow dogs inside as well as outside. The beer is good and our dogs got lots of pats from the people who worked there.
Great Food
Danielle's CafeThe waitress greeted us with two dog bones on a plate and served our pups before she got our drink order which was wonderful. The food was great but the service was very slow and none of the workers seemed happy to be there. We would go again because the food was so good, it may have just been an off day for the staff.
They Love Dogs
Blue Ridge Cotton CompanyThey have a dog behind the counter that “works” there. The owner said the dog has been coming to work with him for 5 years. He welcomed our dogs and even gave them treats that they loved. This store has a variety of items and it’s nice to be able to shop with your pups.
Beautiful!
Anna Ruby FallsThis was an absolutely gorgeous waterfall. We read online that it was a paved trail so we were thinking it would be easy, we were wrong. It has a steep incline all the way up and I ended up having to carry my 12 pound dog up because it was too steep for her. Once you get to the top the views are gorgeous and well worth the trek. Wear comfortable shoes and bring lots of water for the pups but definitely a must do.
Great Place
Hofbrauhaus Restaurantthe food was excellent, our dog got to sit at the table with us and even share our meal!
Great Spot!
Boat Dock Bar & GrillThis is an excellent off the beaten path find. It is a little restaurant in a Marina and it is all outdoor seating. Our waitress brought our dogs water in a bowl and they even got to share our meal with us. The food was excellent! We only wish we found this place sooner, it’s the only outdoor bar we had seen and it would have been nice to have a beer with our dogs but we were headed home that day so only stopped in for lunch.
Great But Mostly Closed
Mercier Orchardsthe orchard is closed due to understaffing and pick your own is closed due to covid. The cafe is also closed and I was told it is seasonal only. The market is open but dogs aren’t allowed in there. You are allowed to walk around the orchards with your dogs which we did and enjoyed. The dogs had to wait in the car with my husband while I looked around the store.
Dog Friendly
Fightingtown TavernThey let you sit outside with your dogs but they have very strict rules regarding where dogs can and cannot be and they do not allow dog water bowls anywhere near the table. They have these rules posted on a big sign at the front. When I asked about it, they said it was the Georgia state food board that made the rules, not them
