    A perfect private spot

We came at around 2pm on a Wednesday. There were very few people, we actually had our pick of three different coves that are connected by the hiking trail you can find marked in the parking lot. The parking lot by the way is located before the BMO bank and is marked by a sign that says 64 Acres park or beach (something like that). The coves are small area with benches or tables. Very beautiful and the short 5min walk from the parking lot to the coves is equally as beautiful. Lots of shade too!

    Awesome spot!

Park where you see a sign that says 64 acre beach access right before the museum. It’s a small parking lot but on July 2 at 9 AM there was only one other car in the parking lot. It’s a short, well marked trail to 3 small coves surrounded by greenery where you can play with your dog. One has a bench, one has a picnic table, not sure about the third. There are no signs saying to keep your dog on leash, but there isn’t a ton of space to play because the water is high this year. But there’s no one else in the other two coves as I write this.
