    Always Dogs There

There are always dogs there to play with your pup. Nice spot for them to run and my dog loves the pool.

    Not so fabulous

just a giant fenced yard with grass and dirt . It does have 2 areas for big and small dogs . pools are broken plastic . no agility pieces for dogs to play . other Orlando parks do it so much better . shame it’s in a nice area . maybe they will upgrade it ??

    Good park

I have a smaller dog, and the small dog side is noticeably smaller here than other parks with small dog areas. Also, the smaller dog side usually does not have many visitors. The big dog side is always popular, no matter what time we go. Parking isn't bad even though there are usually tons of activities going on at the fields and playground. There is a drinking station for the dogs on both sides, and I think I saw a small plastic swimming pool for the larger dogs last time I was there. Lots of trees and places to sit at the dog park too!

    Swarms of Bugs

Swarms of bugs due to kiddie pools and dog dishes being left full of water to breed in. Whole place smells like fish. Algae in sand nearby.
Beautiful park, but left after 5 minutes. May be a seasonal thing.

Like The Dogs Not The Owner

Your pet will be swarmed by other dogs at the entrance and owners won’t keep their dogs back to let yours in so if you are into that great but my dog hates it and will posture showing she is uncomfortable and no one seems to care. I won’t go back there unless it is a weekday morning when it is less busy. Also half the owners are too preoccupied with their phones to play with their pets.

    Great Park

I don't understand how this park can have so many bad reviews. It is very clean, open to everyone, the people are very friendly, and my puppy has the best time! The areas are very large for the dogs to stretch their legs and the hoses are nice when they are done playing.

car vandals at Dr. Phillips park

I used to go here 2-3 times a week till my car ( and 5 others got broken into the same day). The police know this is going on SO doe the park. Yet they do nothing in terns of extra patrols or warnings. Beware, there is a gang of car vandals that regularly hits this park.

    great park

Everyone puts reviews on here about dog owners as if the dog park is made for the owners and not the dogs. I've been taking my 14 week old coonhound to this dog park for a month now and he has a great time each time! There are poopie bags and trash cans everywhere, the area is very clean and they have areas where you can wash your dogs down and give them water. I've taken him in both the small area and larger dog areas and all the owners and their dogs are very nice. Each area for your dog is big! I would recommend this dog park over any other in this area.

    Great for large dogs

I recently returned to Orlando with my two large dogs who had to make the transition from freely roaming in a large yard to being on a leash and in an apartment so I visit this park several times a week. I've only had one incident where another dog was too aggressive and the owners did nothing, but fortunately my dog wasn't hurt and I haven't seen them or their dogs since, I think they were on vacation. The majority of owners are friendly and responsible. I have seen unsupervised children come in to 'play with the dogs' and personally have told them to leave and then another owner asked a park employee for assistance. There are times when there are quite a few huskies, could be an owners group, but they've never bothered me or my pooches. I have a retriever who loves to play ball and there is plenty of room for him to fetch and frolic and get totally worn our so he comes home and take a nap. I think think this park is great and will continue to regularly visit with my babies.

Children behaving worse than the dogs

I went to the dog park today with my three year old Yorkie who is also my service dog. This was his "afternoon off' The park is great for the dogs, very secure and with an area for dogs under 30lbs and a larger space for dogs over 30lbs. There is running water and even a dog size water fountain! The other dogs in the small dog section were nice, all well behaved. Unfortunately someone had let their three children loose in the park with the small dogs, they did not have a dog with them. I observed the oldest of these kids annoying the dogs, running up to the smallest ones and either stamping on the ground right next to them, throwing a pine cone from close range right on to the dog or jumping at them and waving his arms to frighten the dogs and cause them to jump back in fear. I told him off three times but his mother paid no attention to him or to me reprimanding him. He was so close to doing damage to a small dog and had already scared a few and made my dogs first visit to the park off putting. I don't think people without dogs should be allowed in the small dog area, these are not toys to amuse your children while you have achat with your friends!

Nice Park in a Nice Spot

We visited this park on 12/23/12 with our family (including kids) and 2.5-year-old Aussie/Border mix. We found it to be a great park with ample space for dogs to play in. There were probably 20-30 dogs that rotated in/out over the span of 90 minutes. The dogs were of all sizes, ages, and energy levels and all were friendly and well behaved. The owners were also friendly (and well behaved), responsible, and cared about all the dogs. We aren't sure what park Marge from Boca Raton went to because there was no residence sticker requirement. Also, we aren't sure what Jennie from Orlando expects the city to do to prevent her dogs from getting fleas. We found it to be a great clean park with plenty of room for dogs to play with a lakeside view. In our book, that's a winner!

    Perfect

Clean fresh grass, no sand pits, Small dog side, staff is friendly, and no one leaves their poo in the grass!!! Mid-morning on Saturdays is best for small dogs, lots of dogs to play. Double gate with wash area. And the people are always nice.
Not sure why someone said you need a resident stick because you don't.

    Nice Place!

I'm only writing. Ecauss I want to. E sure that this place gets the correct reviews.
    1. The dog park is public. You definately do not need any type of resident sticker.
    2. It's. It an open field. It it's be enoug for your dog to run around (regardless of size).
    3. Park is broken up into 2 sections (under 30 and over 30). The under 30 is probably 4000sf and the over 30 is probably 20,000sf.
    4. The park itself has walking trails, playing fields, etc. the scenery is beautiful.

    Nice little park

Not a lot of shade, and the small dog section is a little...small. But it was a really nice park! Lots of room to run, pretty clean, they provide water areas to drink or hose down the dog.

    Nice dog run!

My dogs and my friend's dogs really liked this park. Lots of room to run and well tended. The only downside is that there wasn't a lot of shade on the big dog side so it can get hot in the summer.

    Excellent dog park.

I've been looking for a dog park to take my two Beagle-Poodle mix pups to. I found this dog park online and decided to give it a shot. They have only been to one dog park before this one, and they had an awesome time. The park itself was located in a good area, and the people there were very friendly. It is well maintained. The only down side that I found was that it was kinda small, but is still enough room for the small pups. We will definitely be going back there soon!

    Nice space, but dirty

Took my dogs here twice--the first time was fun and the people were very nice. The second time, about a week later (2/11), there were piles of feces EVERYWHERE and one of my dogs came home with fleas. It's a beautiful park with a good amount of space to run, but I don't think we'll be going back after that mess.

    Great

I loved this park. My husband, my dog Saydie, and I moved to Florida last month and we have been looking for a nice dog park. This place was amazing. There was plenty of space for Saydie to run and play. The other dogs were great too. They all played real well together. The provide fresh water at little "doggie" fountians, as well as buckets of water. There were lots of tennis balls around to play fetch. There were lots of places for the two leg friends to sit and relax. Also, there were beautiful views to enjoy. I would recommend this park to anyone!

    Really Nice Park

This park is really nice. There are separate areas for dogs over 30 lbs and dogs under 30 lbs. In the middle is a dog wash area. There are dog water fountains and water buckets if your dog won't drink out of the fountain, like mine. It's part of a larger community park. The whole place is really fancy and located in an upscale neighborhood behind a school and right next to a lake.

I went in the middle of the day on a Monday. There were about 6 smaller dogs there, but my Great Dane wasn't allowed to play with them because they were all in the area designated for dogs under 30 lbs. So I just gave her a quick shower in the dog wash area and we took a walk around the park on the fitness trail. We walked past the playground and got lots of attention from the little kids that wanted to pet the giant dog.
