Chimney Beach
Located on National Forest land in Carson City, NV, is the dog-friendly Chimney Beach. This recreation area is approximately two miles south of Sand Harbor State Park, and the beach is named after the stone chimney that remains on the lakeshore. Dogs must be leashed and under control on the beach. Owners are reminded to clean up any mess to preserve the cleanliness of the water and land surrounding it.
